Job Description

Bristol Myers Squibb seeks a Director of Medical Evidence Generation to lead cardiovascular evidence strategy across clinical trials, real-world evidence, and investigator-sponsored studies. The role requires scientific leadership in study design and execution while collaborating with internal teams and external research partners throughout the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead integrated evidence generation strategy aligned with Medical Affairs and product strategy spanning clinical trials and real-world evidence studies
• Provide scientific leadership in clinical study design including Phase II/IV trials, endpoints, and statistical considerations
• Deliver evidence generation programs from concept through governance approval and study lifecycle completion
• Oversee operational delivery ensuring scientific rigor, quality, compliance, timelines, and budgets
• Engage key opinion leaders and academic partners to co-develop high-impact evidence and contribute to scientific dissemination

Requirements

• Advanced degree (MD, PhD, PharmD, MS or equivalent) required
• Minimum 5 years pharmaceutical clinical development, Medical Affairs, or commercial experience
• Prior experience in cardiorenal metabolic therapeutic area required
• Deep knowledge of clinical research and evidence generation methodologies
• Strong leadership ability to influence across matrixed environments
• Demonstrated expertise developing relationships with external thought leaders and internal stakeholders
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to influence at organizational levels

Compensation: $207,490-$251,433
